quin's officially 3

we've all been through an awful run of colds since my last post, and since quin's birthday fell in the middle, we waited for sugar overload, uhhum, celebrating his birthday. i made a giant sugar cookie, smothered it in cream cheese frosting, decorated with fruit and added a citrus glaze. ah! i don't think we're ever going back to birthday "cake" again.

we had so much fun. all of the boys wanted to be sung to, and have a turn blowing out the candles. we laughed so hard, and sang "happy birthday" some more.

sweet, sweet quin. he has brought more joy into our lives in the last 18 months. we've now had him longer than we haven't. and we cannot, and do not want to, imagine life without him. he is such a treasure!
